Final Drawing - Figure Drawing

This final drawing of anatomy of a woman shows the posture of her leaning on her left leg and her right leg stretched out in the air, it shows the wieght of her body being all placed on her left foot. I found it difficult to get the detail of the hands and feet correct this makes them look abnormal.

The drawing is well shaded to show the various depths of the body. The proportions of the body are also correct although the hands and feet could be improved upon with a little bit more time and effort. To improve on this drawing would be to spend a little more time on the smaller details of the body such as the face, knees, belly button, ankles, this would improve the overall quality of the entire drawing.

Final Drawing - Landscape

This final landscape drawing shows subtle shading techniques which are being used to show the lighting from the sun as well as reflections from surfaces. There seems to be some balance to the drawing as both left and right sides are quite light. There are different levels within the image such as the foreground and mid-ground and background.

More detail and shading could have been used on the foreground to improve upon the contrast of the drawing overall. The mid-ground and background are fairly detailed which leads the viewers eye to these buildings are they seem to be the focal points. The shading is done very well, as it follows he contours of the shapes, this gives the buildings and objects depth and a real sense of 3 Dimensions.

Modern Architecture

This drawing of the Bradford City Hall shows he detail of the clock tower, the perspective is slightly off as it was looking up at the building. Also the detail of the image could be improved upon.

Classical Architecture

The perspective of this drawing is no very good, this ruins the drawing as it doesn't look correct. The foreshortening effect is well drawn and clearly visible. The shading is relatively good in parts, such as following the contours of the shape of the object.

This could be improved by either adding more detail to the background or shading to get rid of most of the white spaces, this would make the drawing feel more complete.

Anatomy & Movement

These sketches show the movement of the body over time, they show the different poses that were made as the model was moving and the wieght that is being put down on the legs it also shows how the weight is being shifted on each pose.
